Have your say on Adult Mental Health Services
NHS Nene and Corby CCGs and Northamptonshire County Council are working together to developing a new mental health strategy for Northamptonshire.
We want to hear from people with experiences of Northamptonshire adult mental health services to help us plan for the future. Your feedback and comments are vital in helping us to get it right.
Dr David Smart, a GP from Northamptonshire and clinical lead for mental health, called for people to get involved in developing mental health services in the county.
“There is no health without mental health and mental health is everyone’s business. It is estimated that one in four of us will experience a mental health problem and this will impact on families, friends, school, work and communities. As a general practitioner I know that good mental health and wellbeing are fundamental to physical health and to achieving our potential. We would like everyone in Northamptonshire to have access to excellent mental health services and we invite people to get involved and tell us what they think about current services and what they would like to see in the future”
We are inviting local people to come along to one of our information and listening to meet with commissioners of mental health services and have a say in the development of the strategy. Details of the events can be found below.
