Are you a parent or professional that has concerns over legal highs? Solve It are a small charity based in Kettering with the sole aim of educating and supporting parents, professionals and young people surrounding the issues of New Psychoactive Substances.
We would welcome you to our live debate where we aim to look at the issues and difficulties that face our young people when making decisions about their health and welfare. With new legislation due in early 2016 to regulate these dangerous substances, the aim of our debate is to look at how the potential criminalisation and health issues will affect local communities and services.
We have a panel of experts in their field to debate the issues and answer questions put to them. We welcome Chief Constable Simon Edens from Northants Police; Children and Young People Commissioning Manager for Emotional Health and Wellbeing, David Loyd-Hearn; Solve It's 3-2-1 Decision Making Project Co-ordinator, Jolene Watson; and Rudi Fortson QC to our panel (more to be confirmed).
