Back for the fourth year, the Youth Ambition Awards are an annual celebration of children and young people across Northamptonshire.
They aim to reward the achievements of special young people and showcase the great things they do in their local community.
The Youth Ambition Awards are held jointly with Northamptonshire Newspapers' education awards. The 2016 award winners will be announced at a special ceremony at Wicksteed Park pavilion on Wednesday 29 June.
If you know a child or young person who deserves recognition, we want to hear from you! Please look through the criteria for each category below to see where their achievements fit best, and complete the nomination form telling us why they should win. Full details of what we need to know are on each category page.
The winner of each category will be rewarded with a prize of £200. This has been kindly donated by Guidant Group.
Because we think all the young people entered into the Youth Ambition Awards are amazing, this year there will be a Special Recognition Award which is kindly sponsored byGalliford Try.
This special award recognises an inspiring young person who is a finalist in one of the Youth Ambition Award categories. They could have demonstrated exceptional performance and initiative, shown how committed they are to their cause, put others before themselves, or shown courage, confidence, initiative and perseverance. Whatever they have done, they deserve to shine!
